Born in the south of England, Russell discovered his passion for entrepreneurship early — and has spent his career building, turning around, and growing small businesses.
Russell was born in the south of England. At the age of 24, upon starting his own business, he discovered that he was addicted to life as an entrepreneur. After building a distribution route for gourmet sheep and goat cheeses from the ground up and successfully introducing several new products into the marketplace, Russell sold the business after two years and moved to the U.S. with his new wife from Boulder, Colorado.
He was hired as a consultant by a property investment firm to revamp a failing liquor store that they had acquired from one of their ex-tenants. After successfully re-launching the business a few months later, Russell doubled its sales and increased its profitability within a year. Since then he’s done the same for numerous other businesses that he owns — not only increasing sales, but reducing overhead and streamlining operations.
This track has not only become his area of expertise, but also his passion. He gains tremendous satisfaction from it and truly enjoys helping others experience success with their business ventures.
